Gary Meaden
Like his father, Gary Meaden comes from a long line of jewellers. He is a third-generation jeweller, immersed from a young age in the world of fine jewellery and learning the craft and values that would shape his career.
Gary began his professional journey specialising in diamond mounting. His career developed at the prestigious Graff Diamonds in Hatton Garden, London, the heart of the UK’s diamond trade. Surrounded by world-class craftsmanship and attention to detail, Gary built a deep understanding of diamonds, design, and bespoke jewellery creation. This early exposure to fine craftsmanship instilled in him a commitment to excellence that continues to define his work today.
After gaining extensive experience in London, including working in Hatton Garden, Gary moved to New Zealand over 20 years ago to bring his expertise and vision to a new home. He founded Meaden Master Jewellers, an award-winning studio specialising in bespoke engagement rings, wedding rings, and fine jewellery. Over the years, the Meaden team has grown to bring over 200 years of combined expertise, creating jewellery that blends world-class craftsmanship with a personal, meaningful approach.
